چکیده

We study the shape of inflated surfaces introduced in \cite{B1} and \cite{P1}. More precisely, we analyze profiles obtained by inflating a convex polyhedron, or more generally an almost everywhere flat surface, with symmetry plane. show that such are one-parameter family curves which describe explicitly as solutions certain differential equation.

Profiles of Inflated Surfaces

We study the shape of inflated surfaces introduced in [B1] and [P1]. More precisely, we analyze profiles of surfaces obtained by inflating a convex polyhedron, or more generally an almost everywhere flat surface, with a symmetry plane. We show that such profiles are in a one-parameter family of curves which we describe explicitly as the solutions of a certain differential equation.

Energy Profiles and Reaction Surfaces

by determining spectrometrically the extent of ionization for p-anisyldiphenylmethanol and correlated it with the known pKR+ value (-1.24)37 of p-anisyldiphenylmethyl cation. The ~ K R + values for the monocations and also the values corresponding to the second neutralization of the dications were determined at 25 "C in 50% acetonitrile by means of the UV spectrophotometric method described in ...

Electron density profiles in metallic surfaces

This paper takes a look at the properties of electron density profiles at the metal surfaces; this was done by calculating the properties in the bulk, at the surface and just outside the metal surface using the equations proposed by Kiejna and Wojciechowski. The results obtained shows that; in the bulk of metals, electron density profile depends inversely on the concentration of the electrons a...
